Your clients need you to help them with this

Are you ready to go out there and crush the week ahead? I hope so, let’s do this together!

Last week I posted about adding a little UTC into your sales process (urgency, timelines and consequences) to help move deals forward.

Remember, adding timelines, urgency and consequences are not to ‘pressure’ people into a sale, they are there to help our clients make a decision so we can move forward or move on.

This week I wanted to talk about another 3 of my favorite letters….COI!

COI stands for ‘cost of inaction’. It applies to us and it applies our clients.

Cost of inaction is exactly what it sounds like, time goes by and no attention was given to either solve the problem or move towards a desired state.

The longer the problem persists, the more complex it becomes or the harder it is to solve.

Think about a dentist who finds a cavity with their patient.  ...

Amazing LinkedIn updates to fuel your business

some newer LinkedIn updates that I’m absolutely stoked about!

The first one is you can now add a Link to an external site in your photos/images, I love this because in this example you can see that I dropped an external link to Monica Jonsson’s Corporate Coaching Toolkit on Amazon.

Why is this important? Because so many of us have been hiding our external links in the comments, hoping that people will see them but most of the time they get buried.

And why were we dropping external links in the comments? Because LinkedIn appeared to demote posts with external links.

There wasn’t a really easy way around it.

I’ve also recently been dropping external links right in the body of posts and driving traffic off the platform and they have done far better than they used to in the ‘link hiding’ era.

Here’s what I LOVE about this:

LinkedIn listened to their audience and instead of fearing...

The 4 dangers of thinking 'time is money'

Want to break into new levels of income and start to leverage yourself better?

I recently posted about the 6 type of ‘money mindsets’ when it comes to how you create income. While no one is better than the other, being aware of these will shape how we create money in the future.

Just to recap, here they are:

๐™€๐™ข๐™ฅ๐™ก๐™ค๐™ฎ๐™š๐™š: Amount of active work dictates income (trades time for money). Moves up in skill & position to create more income.

๐™Ž๐™š๐™ก๐™› ๐™š๐™ข๐™ฅ๐™ก๐™ค๐™ฎ๐™š๐™™: Owns a job. Still trades time for money, freedom from having a boss but wears all the hats in the business.

๐˜พ๐™ค๐™ข๐™ข๐™ž๐™จ๐™จ๐™ž๐™ค๐™ฃ: Has a job but is paid on performance and can leverage skill to produce more income in the same amount of time.

๐˜ฝ๐™ช๐™จ๐™ž๐™ฃ๐™š๐™จ๐™จ: Creates the ability to leverage systems and do more by growing a team and stay in their zone of genius.

๐™„๐™ฃ๐™›๐™ก๐™ช๐™š๐™ฃ๐™˜๐™š: The ability to create money based on their network & social presence (affiliate, sponsorships, JV partners)

๐™„๐™ฃ๐™ซ๐™š๐™จ๐™ฉ๐™ค๐™ง: Owns part or all of...

How to get paid like a professional

Am I right about this?

If you treat it like a hobby, you’ll get paid like it's a hobby.
If you treat it like a job, you’ll be paid like it’s a job.
If you treat it like a career, you’ll get paid like its a career.
If you treat it like a professional, you’ll get paid like a professional.

It just guts me to see people give up so much to chase the dream of being a coach, course creator or consultant but give up after 3-6 months of work and figure ‘it’s not for me’.

Part of that is because marketers are always setting people up for failure buy promising HUGE results in just a few months and then crushing people with self doubt when that doesn’t happen.

But as much as I like to throw rocks at the High Ticket Gurus, we have to take ownership too.

Are we treating what we do as a hobby, job, career or a professional?

Hobby: If you give up after 3 to 6 months, or post on social media here and there, take one coaching...

Dominate your goals using these 7 steps

Want to know what formula I use to CRUSH massive goals? I promised I’d share what helps me keep mine front of mine and actually happen!

They say 80%  of people don’t even set goals and out of those, only 70% of those end up reaching them.

What makes it so hard to set goals and to achieve them?

I’ve been able to manifest some big things in life, but I’ve also had times where I wrote down a goal and put it on a piece of paper, only to forget about it and find it in a desk months later.

The other day I posted about how SMART goals drive me nuts, for those of you who aren’t familiar, smart stands for (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic and Timebound).

I have an issue with these: Attainable, Realistic and Timebound  (so 3 of the 5). Here’s why:

Attainable: What’s not attainable if given enough time and resources?

Realistic: This...

Bad Advice From The High Ticket Gurus (Part 4)

More bad advice from the ‘High ticket Gurus’….

Three weeks ago, I sent out a newsletter about the HT Gurus beating the doors down with ‘charging your worth’ only to leave people begging for clients because they haven’t learned out to pave the pathway for that type of sale.

2 weeks ago I sent out a newsletter about how the HT Gurus telling people to ‘quit their jobs and go all in’ without having built the foundation in place to do so, leaving so many people stressed and operating in scarcity mode and often needing to go back to a job after feeling like a failure.

Last week I shared how the high-ticket gurus tell people that you are wasting time with low and mid ticket offers while there are people with $150 offers passing the million dollar mark.

The point of this series is to help you realize there are so many ways you can create a business that you love, without feeling guilty because you don’t fit...

Bad Advice From The High Ticket Gurus (Part 3)

Two weeks ago I sent out this email about the HT Gurus beating the doors down with ‘charging your worth’ only to leave people begging for clients because they haven’t built the ‘know like and trust’ factor.

Yes, charge your worth, but also earn the right to do so by dating a client before asking them to marry you so you don’t repel them away.

Last week I sent a newsletter about how the HT Gurus telling people to ‘quit their jobs and go all in’ without having built the foundation in place to do so, leaving so many people stressed and operating in scarcity mode.

This is part 3 of “Bad advice from the high-ticket gurus”.

High ticket is one of the coaching buzz words (just like scaling & automation).

High ticket is a sale of $3k and above, and a lot of HT gurus will tell you not to waste your time on mid or low-ticket items because you won’t make any money.

That’s...

Bad Advice From The Coaching Gurus (Part 2)

Last week I dropped part one of ‘Bad advice from the Gurus), check it out here

This is part 2:

‘Quit your job and go all in!’

Hold on for a sec, before you quit your job, understand this:

The coaching and marketing gurus want you to hate your job.

They want to sell you the coaching dream, and they want you to buy their high ticket offers.

In marketing this is what we call ‘throwing stones at the bad guys.’

Politicians do this all the time. They leverage people’s emotions and create polarization.

I often see people who jump in without the proper business or marketing foundations, thinking those 10k months are right around the corner, and so pumped to be changing lives.

But they have severed their cash flow and then go into scarcity mode, with pressure amplifying and self-doubt growing.

Eventually the pressure is so much they are broken and feel like...

Bad Advice From The Coaching Gurus (Part 1)

“Charge your worth”

“It’s not about the money”

“Raise your prices”

“Go high ticket”

Advice from the Gurus that often leaves coaches frustrated and desperate for sales month after month.

I've seen new coaches walk over money and clients because they've been shamed into charging high rates without creating the market to sustain it.

These same Guru’s usually have large followings and a high degree of social proof that allows them to do this much easier than a new or intermediate player in the game.

I've also seen a 2nd grade teacher close in on 7 figures with a $99 offer using the right strategies.

Yes, charge your worth, charge high ticket, but only after you have earned that right.

If you don’t have the big name, the big podcast, big Instagram account then:

1 – Work your way up in both pricing and confidence.

2 – Build up your...

Free 5 Day Challenge to turn LinkedIn Into A Cash Making Doorway

I’m putting together a LIVE 5-day challenge called the “LinkedIn ATM Machine 5-day Challenge” where I’ll be showing you exactly how my students are turning their LinkedIn profile into a client acquisition system.

AND I’m so confident we can help, that I’m giving away everything I know at NO-COST inside of this 5-day challenge when it comes to signing up high quality, high value and high ticket clients.

Take one of my students, Neshe for example - Within one month of working with me, she closed a $30k coaching/consulting client, then went on to close several more using my Leveraging LinkedIn strategy. She is now helping corporate clients make a bigger impact in their communities through her consulting work.

LinkedIn is seriously one of the most underrated and untapped traffic sources I’ve been using for years, and here’s why…

Facebook and instagram purposefully throttle your reach, making...
