They call her the Business Savage.
They said everything was handed to her.
They said it was because of her looks.
“Nothing’s been handed to me in my entire life.
It’s easy for people on the outside to look in and see these shiny things or what I’ve accomplished.
But they don’t know what I’ve been through.
They don’t know about the Lawsuits.
They don’t know I’ve been through Labor Board Claims.
Being cut from hockey teams (yes, she was a hockey player).
They don’t know the amount of debt I had to go into to get to the places I was at.
But I had a resiliency that I would never, ever, ever give up.”
“I don’t care how many doors are slammed in my face, or how many people try to knock me down.
As long as I have a heartbeat, I always will get back up.”
That is what a Business Savage is all...
Welcome Mindset Hackers to a brand new week and another opportunity for you to go out and create the life that you love!
We live in a day and age where we have so many tools to create the life that you want, the live that you truly deserve.
It has never been easier, with so many tools available, for you to live the life of your dreams, to have a voice, to get paid to do what you love.
But the promise of instant success is so seductive, and marketers use this as an angle to get your money.
What happens is people get lured into the idea of instant success, quick results.
What actually happens is people hit the wall in the first 3 to 6 months of their great endeavor, reality hits and the realization that it is harder than they though.
Self doubt starts to creep in. "Am I made for this?" "What's wrong with me?" "Why are other people succeeding when I am not"?
The truth is, success takes time. It doesn't need to be hard, but it does take time.
The expectation of quick results can be your...
Mindset Hackers: Can you relate to this?
Growing up shy and introverted, the last thing Steve Spiro thought I’d ever be called a master connector. But deep down he really did want to break out of his shell. He knew he had a real purpose but, struggled to find that purpose.
His family struggled financially and that sparked his drive and ambition to never have to worry or stress about money. He worked with his dad in the family business while in High School and also while going to College. Seeing his dad being almost a slave to his business while still not really getting ahead, had a profound impact on him.
"In an effort to blaze my own trail and not make some of the mistakes my dad made, right out of college, I started my own advertising company with a partner and opened an office in New York City."
But everything changed when he started training in the martial arts in '83. For the first time Steve experienced personal growth and development, not just physically but mentally...
FREE CAR ANYONE?
I remember reading a book a long time ago from Rob Kiyosaki, the author of Rich Dad Poor Dad, and he said:
“If I want to buy a new Ferrari, then I don’t go work for the money or take it out of my savings, I create an asset that pays for the Ferrari.”
The point he was referring to, was to not trade time for money but use your mindset an asset that in turn creates money.
I am not at the point where I’ve created an asset just to pay for a Ferrari, but I am at the point where I can replace my wife’s 2010 Toyota Rav4 with her dream car….and do it without trading my time for it.
In my Audio Masterclass ‘9 Ways To Monetize LinkedIn in 2022’; one of the 9 ways I mention is making money from ‘affiliate’ commissions by referring products or services that you LOVE.

No judgment for anyone that doesn't want to pursue their passion or dreams.
It can be an absolute grind, full of failure, full of uncertainty, full of disappointment and unfilled expectations.
But it can also be the greatest feeling in the world and give you a life full of purpose and unlimited energy!
There will be external things that become obstacles that get in the way, and if you are focused and determined, you will find away around or through them!
But if you choose the path of chasing your passions, don't the inevitable internal obstacles stop you!
1 - The limiting beliefs that lie in your subconscious mind: self doubt, imposter syndrome, self image/worth; the beliefs that you have acquired through life that hold you back. Many of them placed on you by others or by society.
2 - The 'reasons': the excuses, the justifications, the stories that you consciously create to avoid failure and the inevitable success that you could have if you find a way!
Here's the thing...
March 15th 2020, we all remember that timeframe when the world shut down and many of us had to pivot. Some of us had our careers completely wiped out.
For Julie Hruska, she would teach her last 'in person' class on this day, then shut down her studio 6 years prior to her existing plans.
Julie then made her pivot, she declared what she wanted to do, which was expand in a time of contraction. Then it started, full send on getting active on LinkedIn, creating content, getting active on video, networking.
Julie posted this on her LinkedIn page recently:
"2 years ago, when the world locked down, I faced the dark unknown.
As a single mother of 3 and an entrepreneur, I had to pivot quickly to keep the lights on and food on our table. It sounds dramatic, because it was.
I knew that if I didn’t quickly shift to a virtual model for my business, my coaching company wouldn’t survive and my children would suffer.
The pivot was fast, but I was committed.
There was a steep learning...
Today on the Mindset Hackers Podcast it's time to drop some major heat with one of the most impressive entrepreneurs that I know, Ammar Assad.
Ammar owns 2 rental car franchises and learned how to 'detach' from his businesses and hire the right managers to allow those to function independently, they started business coaching to help others do the same.
Ammar is a leader within a top sales and coaching organization who helps other coaches go from average to elite. He has also been a pivotal colleague in my own entrepreneurial journey and a great friend as well.
Before we started recording, I asked Ammar what was one topic that he was excited to jam about and he said 'Taking Action', which was EXACTLY what I was wanting to talk about.
As you know, I often talk about the formula for success being this equation "Knowledge + Action - Overthink = Massive Results".
When you dissect any journey, and you use this formula, you can find out where the breakdown is: you are lacking the skills...

Hello Mindset Hackers, on this episode my Mindset Twinner Hallie Avolio joins me as we talk about the importance of elevated emotions and having a high frequency makes it incredibly easy to create the life that you desire.
Last week I talked about the Law of Attraction and how most people miss out on the 'taking action' component. But there is more to that, and it has to do with you emotional frequency and staying as much as possible in what is called an 'elevated emotion'.
Your emotional frequency has ranges depending on what kind of state you are in.
At the lowest part of the spectrum: fear, shame, resentment, victim mentality, unworthiness.
At the highest part of the spectrum: joy, happiness, enlightenment, freedom, gratitude.
By having an intent (of where you want to go) combined with a true elevated state, will allow more of what you want to come into your life.
In this episode we also talk about Abraham Hicks and the...
I remember when I was a kid, my grandfather used to always tell me:
"You've got to work hard, you've got to go to school and get a degree, then you can succeed".
When I was younger I used to love school, but then around high school I started hating it, and by the time college came around, I knew that I didn't want to pay crazy amounts of money to do something that I hated.
Without me realizing it, it became a battle of 'going to school to succeed' or 'having an average life'.
I didn't want school, so I resigned myself to living an average life.
By sheer chance, I got the opportunity to scrape dishes as a bus boy at the Country Club and be around very successful people that made it look easy.
But for me, I still had years of ups and downs before it started to feel easy, because my belief system was that it needed to be hard.
The crazy thing is I was programmed that success NEEDs to be hard.
How many of us have been told through our entire life: 'you've got to work hard for success'?
What...

Then she became a professional mindset and business coach and that is how our paths have crossed.
