It was exactly 3 years ago that I was struggling and struggling to get going on LinkedIn. 

I remember I’d post something that I though was profound and yet I would get crickets. 

1-5 likes, 0 to 3 comments (see my screen shot below of when I first started).  

It went on like this for months, I almost gave up. Then I started figuring out how to trigger the algorithm. 

After that my connections, engagement and enjoyment on the platform skyrocketed! 

Unfortunately, a lot of people don’t know what the algorithm is looking for and bump their heads up against the wall like I did, then think that their content sucks or that their audience isn’t there and then give up on what could be 6 figures of business. 

Did you know that LinkedIn’s algorithm will throw your content into what’s called a ‘Spam Bucket’ and you won’t even know it (other than your posts are getting crickets)?

Overthink is the absolute ENEMY of getting what you want in life.  

Overthink is the spinning in your mind, the mental ping pong game going back and forth, asking ‘will this work’, ‘what if I fail’, ‘what will people think of me’.  

Overthink EXHAUSTS your mind because your brain consumes so much energy. You can literally be wiped out without having done a thing to move your business or personal life further.  

Overthink causes stress, anxiety, and lack of time.  

But what if you could replace OVERTHINK with CERTAINTY?  

You’d be able to take all that precious time and energy and use it for creating ACTION! 

It’s like a double win, turn down the anxiety and stress, turn up taking action...

I wanted to share with you one of my favorite mindset hacks that will give you more confidence, tap into your inner badass and help you live a full F*ck YES life!  

If you are in my inner circles, you know that I do a lot of work on my subconscious to remove limiting beliefs and anything holding me back from doing EXACTLY what I want to in life.  

Why the subconscious? Because it is responsible for automating the vast majority of our actions (or lack of actions).  

We are born limitless but then start getting our scars through life that tamper us down. Our parents, broken relationships, kids in school, trolls, social media, advertising and media telling you who you should be.  

When we get these scars in life, our subconscious does an inside job to try to keep us from feeling that pain again. Often times we aren’t even aware of it.  

We hold ourselves back, unable to truly UNLEASH that warrior within us.

One of the things that plagues people in their business the ups and downs of sales.  

The wild swings can feel like a roller coaster at times, but unlike a real roller coaster it doesn’t feel so great when things are heading downhill. 

One of my mentors used to always preach a strategy that has helped me have a lot less ups and downs both in sales and business. 

He calls it: Find, Book, Keep.   

The gist of it is you have 3 buckets that you need to always be focused on to keep your pipeline flourishing. Taking your eyes off one or more of these is what causes the wild swings, and happens a lot when business is booming!

This is the marketing and prospecting bucket and is the most important bucket to be create abundant revenue. It does not matter if you have the best offers or are awesome at sales if you can’t lure in potential clients through your content marketing, networking, referrals, paid traffic,...

Today I want to share with you some very important Money Habits I learned from a decade of being around some of the wealthiest people in Salt Lake.  

When I was younger, I had NOTHING going for me. I was broke AF, had horrible habits around earning, saving, investing, spending.  

But luckily a friend asked me to come work with him at the Salt Lake Country club where all the wealthy people hung out. 

It sucked at first, scraping dishes, working 10-to-12-hour days and all the holidays, but over time I worked my way up to a server, then bartender, then into leadership. 

You always hear bartending is where it at for building relationships, people drinking into the late hours, sharing all their secrets. 

It was here that I found so many financial and life mentors that taught me so much.  

I noticed that there was a BIG difference between how these people created wealth and what I had seen and been around my entire life.

Today I have a very cool story to share along with some great lessons that have to do with creating more financial abundance. 

April Shprintz didn't know that her family was poor until another 6-year-old asked her these questions:

That business was shut down pretty quickly after all the other kids spent their lunch money buying them.

But she was hooked! And that set her on a path to escape poverty.

Let's talk about Imposter Syndrome: This is a form of self doubt that literally cripples people and holds them back from sharing their talents with the world.

The best way to describe it is the feeling of "what if they find out I'm a fraud" or "I was just lucky" when you have had success or a breakthrough. 

If you have felt that, you are not alone, and I want you to realize that its actually a good thing because it means you are stepping into new territory. You wouldn't feel it if you weren't stretching yourself. 

10 years ago I applied to a company that was #3 on the Forbes to 100 best places to work (Google was #1).

I was 39 years old and had a negative net worth because my business had just crashed.

At that time there was about 1 to 2 hires for every 100 applicants, and this was only the 2nd job I had applied to in my entire life.

The last job I applied to was in 1991 as a bus boy at the Salt Lake Country Club.

The job description asked for 2 years of sales experience, but...

One of the most damaging beliefs about money is that “the LOVE of money is the root of all evil”. 

If you believe on a conscious or subconscious level that loving money is evil, then you’ll avoid making more of it. 

‘Love of money = evil’ becomes ‘Money = evil’. 

Then your subconscious thinks ‘I don’t want to be evil, so I better stay away from money’. 

After spending a decade with some of the wealthiest people in Utah, I found that there was no truth to that and there are plenty of very wealthy people who do a LOT of good in the world.

If you look up “The Giving Pledge” on Google, you’ll find there is a VERY long list of billionaires that have pledged to give away the vast majority of their wealth to others. 

There’s nothing wrong with money and the more you LOVE it, the more it will love you.

The way I look at money is like a relationship.
