It was May of 2021, and I was so lost.

The year before my sales job was decimated due to hospitals being shut down, and I had to have a backup plan, so I used LinkedIn to build a coaching business.

Things in my coaching biz were starting to really pick up, but also things were getting back to normal in my sales role.

I was struggling hard with which path I should take. Do I dump my sales role that was heading for a record-breaking year? Or do I dump the coaching business that I LOVE?

I also had a newborn baby and 2 other kids.

I was so overwhelmed and confused, and didn't know what to do.

So, I paid $24k and joined a mastermind with some business bad asses!

I met so many incredibly resourceful people in this group, friends that I will have forever!

And I got some clarity on what I should do:

I didn’t need to put one against the other (job vs. business).

Instantly I felt relief that I didn’t have to make a choice, and all that...

If you are on my website reading this, I’d say its safe to assume that you, in some form or another, are doing what most people DON’T do and are chasing your passion or your dreams (or getting ready to).  

Maybe you are starting a business. 

Maybe you are starting a podcast. 

Maybe you are building your brand and creating content. 

You are BRAVE to do this. Most people fear what happens on the other side of the doors of opportunity, but the most dangerous place to be is staying in the same place. 

It takes courage to find your voice, leaning into the fear of judgment.  

Imposter syndrome, self-doubt, negative self-talk all come up.  

But you lean into those voices and STILL move forward. 

Once you are past that, there’s still danger ahead when it comes to your mindset and the voices that will come up. 

Do you ever ask yourself this: 

“Is it worth it”?

Last week I shared how I created a 6-figure income that I only spend 10 hours per week on utilizing courses (leverage time), micro steps (15 to 60-minute increments per day) and LinkedIn (source of traffic).

Of course, there are other reasons why people buy but these are the ones that I focus on most and create good sales levers.

Crazy how this unfolded.... 

In 2021, I thought it would be a good idea to create a vision board because it had been so long since I had made one.  

If you know me, I’ll try anything (and hopefully without judgment). 

So I put a bunch of shit on there (mostly things that I wanted since that’s what I was told to do in the early 2000’s when it came to vision boards).

But after I made it I realized I no longer wanted ‘things’ as much as it was ‘who I wanted to become’. 

Anyway I did put Marketing Legend and Entrepreneur Amy Porterfield on my vision board, 6 months before I even started podcast!

She is probably the number 1 person (up there with Gary Vee) that I look up to when it comes to entrepreneurship!
