In this blog I’m going to share how I built a 6 figure business that takes me 10 hours or less per week to run. It's not a gimmick, and it didn't happen overnight, but it did happen in 2 years with small and consistent action steps.
Here’s the thing: I have a full-time sales role, a podcast, 3 kids, sleep 8 hours a day and also need my ‘me time’. That doesn’t leave me with much more time to run a business does it?
So, I MUST do this in 10 hours or less per week or it won’t get done!
Alright, let’s dive into how to create a 6-figure income stream!
If someone were to ask me what would the perfect business consist of, I would tell them it needed to be portable (something you can run from anywhere and sold to anywhere), scalable (able to nimbly grow), doesn’t require employees, complex equipment of inventory that you had to ship, and something that was unique to me...
They call her the Business Savage.
They said everything was handed to her.
They said it was because of her looks.
“Nothing’s been handed to me in my entire life.
It’s easy for people on the outside to look in and see these shiny things or what I’ve accomplished.
But they don’t know what I’ve been through.
They don’t know about the Lawsuits.
They don’t know I’ve been through Labor Board Claims.
Being cut from hockey teams (yes, she was a hockey player).
They don’t know the amount of debt I had to go into to get to the places I was at.
But I had a resiliency that I would never, ever, ever give up.”
“I don’t care how many doors are slammed in my face, or how many people try to knock me down.
As long as I have a heartbeat, I always will get back up.”
That is what a Business Savage is all...
March 15th 2020, we all remember that timeframe when the world shut down and many of us had to pivot. Some of us had our careers completely wiped out.
For Julie Hruska, she would teach her last 'in person' class on this day, then shut down her studio 6 years prior to her existing plans.
Julie then made her pivot, she declared what she wanted to do, which was expand in a time of contraction. Then it started, full send on getting active on LinkedIn, creating content, getting active on video, networking.
Julie posted this on her LinkedIn page recently:
"2 years ago, when the world locked down, I faced the dark unknown.
As a single mother of 3 and an entrepreneur, I had to pivot quickly to keep the lights on and food on our table. It sounds dramatic, because it was.
I knew that if I didn’t quickly shift to a virtual model for my business, my coaching company wouldn’t survive and my children would suffer.
The pivot was fast, but I was committed.
There was a steep learning...

Go to school. Work hard. Get a job and get paid 6 figures. Doctor, lawyer, architect. Work for 40-50 years and you are set.
Does that sound familiar?
Marcus Chan was washing dishes, sometimes for up to 15 hours on a Sunday and he knew there had to be more.
He rejected the societal constructs that said that to make money, you've got to work hard in one of those high paying jobs.
As he broke through the 100k barrier, then 150, then 200, he realized he could keep going.
After getting 10 raises in 10 years and bringing in millions of dollars for a large corporation, he decided it was time to move on and become a sales coach for the top B2B and Sales professionals and leaders.
Join me and Marcus and we dissect the mindset and mindset tools & practices of an 8 figure entrepreneur.
How do leaders teach their employees to cultivate a powerful mindset?
Are top sales organizations teaching mindset as part of their onboarding and training?
