Kajabi Website Template Case Study: How Nancy Mae Made Madison Her Own

Nancy Mae's homepage opens on a woman laughing in a field of golden grass, with "welcome to where new life begins" drifting across the light in a soft hand-lettered script. It is one of the warmest coaching websites I have seen built on one of my templates, and it started life as Madison, the most neutral design in my collection.

Nancy is a fertility coach and the creator of the Energetic Fertility MethodTM. She works with women who sense there is more to their fertility than conventional care alone can offer, blending a background in scientific research, energy medicine, and life transitions coaching into support that honors the whole person.

Her site is live at fertility.nancymae.com, and I wanted to walk you through exactly what she did with it, because it is a masterclass in making a template your own.

Who Nancy Mae Is and What Her Website Needed to Do

Fertility is tender ground. A woman landing on Nancy's site might be carrying years of grief, a fresh diagnosis, or a quiet hope she has not said out loud to anyone. Before the site can sell anything, it has to feel safe.

Nancy understood that better than any designer could. Right below her hero, three short promises set the tone for everything else on the page: Soul-Led Support, Rooted in Wisdom & Experience, and Held, Not Rushed. Each one sits under a delicate line icon, a heart, a sprouting seedling, a pair of open hands.

Those three words, held, not rushed, describe her coaching. They also describe how her website feels to scroll.

Why Madison Was the Right Starting Point

I designed Madison as a neutral aesthetic Kajabi template. Cream backgrounds, soft taupe accents, editorial serif headlines, and generous white space. It was built for coaches who want their site to feel calm and premium without shouting.

A neutral foundation has a practical advantage when you customize it. There is no bold color baked into the design for your brand to fight with, so whatever palette you bring in becomes the personality of the site.

Nancy brought in a lot of personality, and Madison made room for all of it.

What Nancy Changed

A Dusty Rose Palette

The biggest shift is color. Nancy swapped Madison's neutral accents for a soft dusty rose and used it with real restraint. It shows up in full-width bands, like her "as featured in" strip, on every button, and as the thin border around her "Not sure where to begin?" invitation.

She kept the cream base underneath, so the pink reads as warm and nurturing rather than loud. That balance is harder to pull off than it looks, and she nailed it.

If you want to try the same thing on your own site, my guide on how to change the colors on your Kajabi website walks through it step by step.

Imagery That Shares the Same Light

Nancy replaced the template photography with images that all feel like they were taken in the same golden hour. A sunlit meadow in her hero. A rose garden in full bloom behind her three offer cards. A soft pink wildflower field behind her free resource.

Her own portraits carry the palette too, with Nancy in muted lavender and cream that echo the colors around her. Nothing on the page feels borrowed from a stock library, and that consistency is a big part of why the site feels so trustworthy.

A Script Font for Her Section Openers

Nancy paired Madison's serif headlines with a flowing script for her section introductions: "welcome," "as featured in," "what fellow luminaries are saying," and "the latest on the blog." It adds a personal, handwritten feel without making anything harder to read.

Adding a second font like this is one of the quickest ways to make a template feel custom. My post on creating custom fonts in Kajabi with Google Fonts shows you how.

Sections Built Around Her Offers

Nancy filled Madison's layout with content that is entirely hers:

  • Three offer cards for Self-Guided Support, Spirit Baby Readings, and the Energetic Fertility MethodTM
  • A free Fertility Impact Session, invited twice down the page so a visitor who is not ready to buy has somewhere gentle to start
  • A lead magnet, "7 Key Factors That May Influence Your Fertility," shown on a tablet, phone, and journal mockup
  • A testimonial carousel opening with a glowing review from internationally renowned energy healer Cyndi Dale
  • A press bar listing her podcast and media appearances, including The Wholesome Fertility Podcast, Open to Hope TV, and Energy Medicine Magazine
  • A blog feed that keeps her latest writing one click from the homepage

That press bar and testimonial section do a lot of quiet work. A woman meeting Nancy for the first time can see within a few seconds that respected people in her field already trust her.

What Stayed the Same

Underneath all the color and photography, the bones of Madison are still there. The section rhythm, the spacing, the headline hierarchy, the card layout, and the way calls to action repeat down the page at natural decision points.

That structure is the part of a template that takes me the longest to get right, and it is the part Nancy did not have to touch. She got to spend her energy on what makes her brand hers.

What Nancy's Site Shows About Kajabi Website Templates

Put Nancy's site next to the Madison demo and you might not guess they came from the same file. That is exactly what I want from my templates.

When you buy a Kajabi website template, you are buying a proven page structure and a design foundation. Your colors, your photos, your fonts, and your words finish it. Nancy took a neutral template built with executive and business coaches in mind and turned it into a soft, soul-led home for fertility clients, and every choice she made supports the women she serves.

If you are wondering how far you can push a template before it stops working, Nancy's site is a good answer. You can also see how Julia Serafina took my Executive template in a completely different direction in her Serafina Digital case study.

Thank you, Nancy, for trusting Madison with work this meaningful. It is an honor to see it carry your message.
