Did you ever see the move The Matrix?

The reason I loved this movie so much is there are so many parallels with life.

In the movie, 'the real world' is a simulation perpetrated by AI to keep us distracted and under control.

Not so different from our 'real world' where the media, politics, advertising, social media hacking our dopamine systems to keep us distracted and chasing an ideal reality that never seems to come.

In the movie, the Matrix (the simulation) is a computer program that has rules and boundaries called 'constructs' that keep people prisoner.

In our lives, we have outdated belief systems that we have bought into and work within that also keep us prisoner.

In the movie, during the training scenes, Neo gets distracted by the girl in the Red Dress, a perfect example of how easily we get distracted in life, especially as entrepreneurs. I call this 'Shiny Object Syndrome' and it comes in the way of success because it diffuses your focus and energy.

A true cycling nerd will spend ridiculous amounts of money on bikes, shoes, carbon wheels, trainers, GPS and tech devices & nutrition.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 every cycling nerd 𝙬𝙖𝙣𝙩𝙨 is to be faster.

𝗪𝗵𝘆 do they want to be faster? Because they want to look cool and be like their heroes in the Tour De France.
