Today I wanted to share something big with you: How I 10x’d my abundance in life.
When I say abundance, I don’t mean just financial abundance, but my abundance in relationships, my time and my opportunities.
5 years ago, I remember it so clearly. I was one of my long Sunday bike rides where I consume the knowledge of others by listening to podcasts while I ride.
I was listening to The Eventual Millionaire Podcast where I heard a guest who just blew my mind.
His name was Derek Rydall and he was discussing his new book “The Abundance Project”, he is also the author of the best seller “Emergence”.
He was talking about all the struggles he had trying to get success, all the work on personal development, all the law of attraction techniques that we try and use but end up feeling like we aren’t getting anywhere.
He talked about how through 2 near death experiences he realized that most of personal development has it all...
Today I want to share with you some very important Money Habits I learned from a decade of being around some of the wealthiest people in Salt Lake.
When I was younger, I had NOTHING going for me. I was broke AF, had horrible habits around earning, saving, investing, spending.
But luckily a friend asked me to come work with him at the Salt Lake Country club where all the wealthy people hung out.
It sucked at first, scraping dishes, working 10-to-12-hour days and all the holidays, but over time I worked my way up to a server, then bartender, then into leadership.
You always hear bartending is where it at for building relationships, people drinking into the late hours, sharing all their secrets.
It was here that I found so many financial and life mentors that taught me so much.
I noticed that there was a BIG difference between how these people created wealth and what I had seen and been around my entire life.
They had...
Today I have a very cool story to share along with some great lessons that have to do with creating more financial abundance.
April Shprintz didn't know that her family was poor until another 6-year-old asked her these questions:
"๐ผ๐ง๐ ๐ฎ๐ค๐ช ๐ฉ๐๐ ๐๐๐ง๐ก ๐ฉ๐๐๐ฉ ๐๐๐ฉ๐จ ๐ฉ๐๐ ๐๐ง๐๐ ๐ก๐ช๐ฃ๐๐๐๐จ?"
"Why are your pants too short?"
"What does your dad do?"
And then it started making more sense. The donated food in the pantry. The trips to the WIC office.
It started to hit home that she was living in poverty and she was determined to do something about it.
At 6 years old she started her first business, selling 'magic blue rocks' that would fix the other kids problems.
That business was shut down pretty quickly after all the other kids spent their lunch money buying them.
But she was hooked! And that set her on a path to escape poverty.

I just dropped a Mindset Hackers episode with April and she shares:
